We offer cupping for patients who need it at the end of their acupuncture treatment, at no extra charge.
If you’re interested in cupping, please let us know either when you make your appointment, or at the start of your session, so our acupuncturist can ensure there’s enough time to add it.
Cupping is fantastic for tight, aching muscles and stubborn muscle knots. It creates decompression in the tissues and muscles, helping blood to flow through the area and releasing tight muscles. The increased circulation brings oxygen and other nutrients the muscles need to heal.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
We do not take insurance. However, if you have insurance coverage for acupuncture, we’re happy to print you a superbill. A superbill is a receipt specifically for insurance companies. If you have acupuncture coverage, once you submit your superbill, they will (usually) reimburse you the difference between what we charge and your acupuncture-specific copay.
Yes! We accept both FSA or HSA payments, via the debit card or check.
Great question! Cosmetic acupuncture is fantastic for brightening and smoothing the skin before a big event. But you don’t want to do it too close to the wedding itself, because it can occasionally cause small bruises on the face. Of course I do EVERYTHING I can so that doesn’t happen, but sometimes it still occurs. This is normal for acupuncture in general, and cosmetic is no different. For this reason, I recommend completing the full series of 10 cosmetic acupuncture treatments three weeks (or more) before the wedding. This way, if a bruise occurs, it has plenty of time to disappear before the big day!
Yes. Cupping is a therapy that can be added onto an acupuncture treatment if needed, at no extra charge. It’s often used to help release tight muscles and improve circulation in the area.
Gua sha is a type of massage that has been used in Asian countries for centuries and is still used today. Facial gua sha massage is a little different than other types of gua sha – it is very light and gentle. The goal of facial gua sha is to use a smooth stone (usually polished crystal) to improve blood flow to the skin and to gently lift and sculpt the face. It’s very relaxing and feels amazing. It’s part of every cosmetic acupuncture treatment and part of the Acupuncture Glow Facial as well.
