Seneca Falls Acupuncture now offers Celluma Light Therapy as an add-on for cosmetic acupuncture treatments!

What is Celluma LED Light Therapy?

The Celluma delivers low-level light therapy (LLLT) at specific wavelengths for therapeutic benefits to the skin.

Celluma is unique because it’s FDA cleared for the treatment of wrinkles and acne.

It’s research-backed, safe and non-invasive. It’s won over 30 (!) awards in the last five years from a wide variety of skincare associations.

How does Celluma help reduce wrinkles?

Celluma provides low-level light therapy at specific wavelengths, which is important because the wavelength determines the level of the skin that is affected.

Red wavelength impacts the dermis layer of the skin, at the level of collagen and elastin, making it ideal for the treatment of wrinkles.

How does red light improve wrinkles?

Light energy has been shown to improve how well cells function, making them faster and more efficient at regenerating, as well as improving microcirculation and stimulating collagen production.

Research has shown that light therapy may help:

  • Smooth skin texture
  • Improve skin firmness
  • Increase lymphatic system activity
  • Restore skin’s natural cellular activity
  • Reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and superficial hyperpigmentation

How does Celluma help reduce acne?

For acne, Celluma uses a blue wavelength which is more superficial, impacting the top layer of the skin. This blue wavelength selectively kills the bacteria that causes acne (P. acnes), allowing the skin to heal.

Please note that just like cosmetic acupuncture, the results of the Celluma for both wrinkles and acne are cumulative. Multiple treatments are recommended.

How can I try the Celluma?

The Celluma can be added onto any cosmetic acupuncture treatment for an extra fee. See below for our limited time Celluma sale!

The Celluma is added while you’re resting with cosmetic acupuncture points in the face (see photo above), so no extra time is added to the treatment – only extra benefits.

There are three options for adding the Celluma to your cosmetic acupuncture treatment:

1) Add it onto a full series of 10 cosmetic treatments.

2) Add it onto an Acupuncture Glow Facial (our signature, standalone treatment).

3) Add it onto a follow-up cosmetic acupuncture treatment (for those who are on a cosmetic maintenance schedule).
